InnLink Debuts New Services at HITEC 2007

Introducing Expedia QuickConnect™, Sabre Hotel UpSell™ and
Travel Agent Commission Settlement Interfaces

Hendersonville, TN ─ InnLink Central Reservation Services, one of the leading providers of central reservation services and technology, will showcase new products, services and solutions during HITEC 2007, the lodging industry’s annual technology exposition and conference.

As a solution to improve property placement and simplify inventory management, InnLink has partnered with Expedia® providing an interface for QuickConnect™. This allows for the electronic exchange of rates, inventory and booking data between the property, Expedia and InnLink.

For properties currently using an extranet merchant model, QuickConnect will significantly reduce data entry. QuickConnect will reduce transaction fees and significantly improve your property placement on Expedia for properties currently using InnLink’s retail model. To remain competitive in a highly saturated market, use QuickConnect for improved placement and availability. QuickConnect will also automatically place your property on Hotels.com®. 

As a longtime provider of Sabre Travel Network™ services to the marketplace, InnLink is pleased to introduce a new marketing tool designed to increase ADR ─ Hotel UpSellSM. The travel agent is prompted with an upgrade message after the room is sold on Sabre. Hotel UpSell provides a quick and flexible option for agents to more effectively sell your unique amenities and premium rooms. Based on Sabre Travel Network research, on average hoteliers can expect 5-15% incremental revenue on converted bookings through Sabre Hotel UpSell. InnLink provides Hotel UpSell to their clients at no additional cost opening the door to opportunity for increased profits.

Another handy service designed to reduce data entry and save labor cost is Travel Agency Commission Settlement (TACS). InnLink and Perot Systems have partnered to provide an easy-to-use, automated online commission payment service. TACS is reliable and flexible able to serve the varying needs of travel agency partners worldwide by delivering efficient and timely commission payments. The advantage of more accurate processing, safer data storage and timely commission disbursements increases travel agent activity for properties. While other industry commission processing programs charge the travel agent a 3% fee to use the system, TACS is free for agents. The promotional value to the travel agent community coupled with the time saved processing payments makes this an invaluable new service for InnLink clients.
